Mark Empey has Graphic Design Degrees from Art Center and Yamagata School of Design in Japan. His studio has been located in Pasadena and Oakland, CA. Currently it is located in Blackfoot, ID. Blind Mice Studio has several listings as designer of record on Moby Games and won an Immy Award for Best Software Design of a Family Line and Best Packaging Design. The studio has a photography studio, the best Apple stations, large format ink jet printers, laser cutters, a wood & metal shop and 2 dogs that run the place. He occasionally uses interns from BYU-Idaho.
Kendra Empey has a Communications and a Business degree from Brigham Young University. She met Mark at Ad-Lib Creative, an offshoot of Grey Advertising, in San Francisco and enjoyed working with Mark so much she married him and has been working with him from Ad-lib to Soo Hoo Design until they opened Blind Mice Studio in 1997.
